Best computers to Buy.

I can see we have a nice little community here with lots and lots of members, I would like to know if any of you could recommend a great computer to buy, I'm open to any suggestions. I already know about how great MACs are and about Toshiba laptops, but I'm looking for a good decktop PC. Thanks.

Well luckily this isn't a Mac thread so I will refrain from escalating this argument. GEEE Jen You remind me of Grouchy the Computer Hating Smurf - Ok lets have other peeps respond now cause this gal seriously needs some help. Hello Dvhour, I'm sort of going with what Jennifer said, building my own. I personally don't have the time to build one, but my friend told me about a local computer warehouse, I'm told they'll build a fantastic system for me at less the cost of the main brand computers, but better.

I don't know, I've also heard bad things about HP, I guess I'll have to check out a computer magazine or consumers report.

hi, i never seen a toshiba desktop, any basic desktop will be ok(i recommends 2GB to 4GB RAM, (chose a better processor than Intel Celeron), if you want the pc to start faster, upgrade your hard disk drive to SSD (Solid State Drive)..
