So, yeah, I'm totally one of those asshole atheists who throws the not-so-warm-and-fuzzy verses at Christians when they try to save my soul. However, I've come across a couple of verses in my most recent perusal that I thought the community might find amusing. These are from the new King James Version.

Deuteronomy 25:11-12

"If two men fight together, and the wife of one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of one attacking him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; you're eye shall not pity her."

Seems like a harsh punishment for saving your husband

Deuteronomy 23:1

"He who is emasculated by crushing or mutilation shall not enter the assembly of the lord"

Talk about adding insult to injury

This leads me to think that perhaps men's testicles got crushed often enough back then that they thought to write down a commandment that such a person can't enter the temple. Wow! That sucks. Guys must have had it really rough back then.

Wow I wonder what caused it so much that they had to make a rule about it lol? Glad to not live back then.

They were a pastoral people, so I would imagine it was when a goat, horse, or cow would kick them in the balls.

Deuteronomy? More like Neuteronomy!

Seriously, that's some harsh stuff right there. Reminds me of the medieval testicle-torture devices/techniques that were apparently used. It's enough to make ya nuts shudder!

the second one is prbly referring to eunuchs  which were common among slaves.

"If two men fight..." - Yes, this biblical text is a known thing.

If two men fight together - it's a duel, it is fair fight, mostly is: "no hit below the belt”. And this should be respected.

But probably at that time the women often attacked to the male genitals, and see it as a normal for every matter. And for that God gives for women this one exceptional law, and is extremely strict. But we also see - this is only for this one specific situation. Not other situations.

For that, this biblical text is also a very good argument for freedom Jewish and Christian women, in women's self-defense, or others conflicts with a male, and also in sexual games, - attack in the balls is okay. God could forbid this attack for all situations, but no, we see - prohibited this is only for one very specific situation. For other situations it is okay.

We see, ballbusting is no problem for Jewish and Christian women. God did not impose any other prohibition (except in that one situation).

Some Jewish and Christians, who do not know the Bible, have doubts for this attack and they think - is it a rare, so God said nothing for this matter. But no, we see - God gave the rules also for this matter.
