What signs might indicate someone's interested in ballbusting?

Someone asked me what sort of personality traits or subtle behaviors a person could exhibit which might suggest that they're into this fetish. However, I have difficulty reading social cues, so I wasn't really able to give any reliable flags/clues, other than relating my own limited experience.

For those of you who are more socially-attuned than I am, what kind of clues do you look for in conversation or day-to-day activity? What kind of hints have you seen people drop? Also, this doesn't necessarily have to be limited to just ballbusting: what kind of hints might suggest broader interests in dominance/submission or sadism/masochism? It's hard to find other people in everyday life who're into this; what has helped for you? And what sort of hints have your dropped, if any?

It'd be great if perspectives from both genders could be considered, rather than limiting this to one or the other. Also, if any clarification is needed, feel free to ask.

Can't say for sure. I've known a couple guys that I suspected might be into it; one would make jokes about getting hit in the nuts, and always when there's at least one female around. The other always seemed to like movies or TV shows with strong female leads, in particular ones where she would fight guys and beat them, and alot of them would involve groin shots. I never got the courage to ask either of them if they were into it though, just because it would've been weird if they weren't, then they'd ask why I asked, and... yeah.

Funnily enough, the only friend that I found out for certain to be into it (into watching it, at least) was a female friend that I had suspected for a while, but I found out for certain totally by accident. Unfortunately since she's also a friend of my gf, I can't ask her to bust me without my gf finding out. :/

It's hard to make a list.   I ask myself what I'd be open to if I was this person.  If ballbusting, what would appeal to me about it if I was him/her?  With girls, once you get an idea of what sense of empowerment ballbusting gives, (and everybody is interested in empowering themselves) then its a matter of finding girls who want or need that kind of validation.  And the last step is the hardest: being honest with yourself on whether or not you are her kind of guy, not for ballbusting, but just, her kind of guy.  First common ground, then common sexual/romantic interest, then ballbusting.  And of course, gotta be willing to take a chance.

Signs that somebody is interested in ballbusting/cuntbusting are usually difficult to tell off the bat, or without knowing the person in question as bb/cb are fetishes and most people are pretty tight lipped about fetishes even common ones. That being said even tight lipped people do have tell tale signs. A decent sign is how they react to the topic, straight up asking them doesn't work that well, rather baiting them into a topic related (but not exclusive) to bb/cb is your best bet; sports injuries, mma, ect are all good jumping off points. While it'll be up to you (most likely) to steer the conversation in the direction you want once you get them to the point you can usually tell how into bb/cb they are or aren't fairly easy. If they strongly avoid it then it's likely they are interested but don't want to admit it, if they talk normally about it then they likely have no preference one way or the other, if they seem to get into it then they likely are interested and know it. This is one example though there are others (not listing them, then I'll be typing an essay) but it's an easy one to use. This is a generality as such this statement is not true for everybody but it is true for quite a few people. Regardless if they are interested you probably don't want to go straight from that to "Hey can I kick you in the groin" or something along those lines; instead ease them into it and they should tell you that they are interested/curious themselves.
