Would you focus the class more on groin shots?

In your opinion do the self defense industry focus too much on low blows? or too little?

I would definitely include groin shots, for sure. With that, boys and girls! Wear your cups!

I think they think of low blows too much and too little. Too much, cause a nut shot doesn't always work, for whatever reason. Maybe you hit off target, maybe they blocked it, maybe they simply aren't that sensitive there. Too little, cause I haven't encountered hardly any that have addressed how it hurts us as well as the boys.

Dude, not cool. Shaming people for not sharing your opinion on busting is probably one of the most disrespectful ways to talk on this site. And yea, she's talking about martial arts where people wear cups to avoid injury. Busting doesn't only occur amongst consenting partners.

If you really want to break it how is your chance of success

 My technique to break cups is to do a really good back kick. That is a very powerful one, so it has the best chance.

Chance of success... 10-15% if I really wanted to with one.

Wow , that must take a lot of power. After that do you feel a lot of follow through or is the power dissipated in the cup?

Pretty much all of the power is spent in the cup already
