This is the time of year that I dred. This page dedicated to all questions, comments and feedback pertaining to the 2016-2017 annual donation request. Please don't be shy with your thoughts but please try to remain civil and respectful. We are all human beings trying to make a living and we all have a common interest to see our site flourish.

Abuse and harsh criticism without a plan is not helpful nor is it necessary. It only causes a toxic environment and I do not have the energy or time for such things so lets all try to be constructive and fair in our communication here.

One thing that I feel people need to be aware of is asking "how close are we do the amount?"  Now, if it's someone who has already donated and is curious because they're willing to donate a little more, then maybe DV, that's okay to answer in private?  But if you're willing to donate, just do it.  Shouldn't matter how close it is.  And I know DV will say "with so many members, no one should ever have to donate more" but the truth is, its usually like 90-150 members who donate, so if someone decides to again, let em!
