A World

Imagine a world that was cursed so that the average guy would be doomed to get hurt in the wrong spot on a weekly basis. It seldom happened on purpose, but on every given week, Sunday through Saturday, every single guy would at least once be dropped to their knees in excruciating agony. Human or animal, it did not matter, every single male would be faced with the same fate.

Fortunately, fate was kind, and nobody would ever be hurt in front of somebody they would feel too uncomfortable around, and never ever, no matter how much it hurt, was anyone ever permanently damaged. But if one had a crush or girlfriend, she would be sure to be there almost every single time.

There was nothing malicious or cruel about the people of this world, it was just fate. An excruciating but amusing fate in which nobody could avoid.

Is the curse that it is only weekly?

Well, in your world, it can be daily. I said weekly for all the average guys who couldn't take it more than that. I want to agonize and humiliate them, not scar them for life. Give them time to recover, that way they can again regain confidence in their existence before you bash it all away again.
