She looks like she strikes pretty hard. Even with a cup, did it hurt? If I had balls I'd be on my knees!

She's actually really down to earth and pretty cool.  Some fun stories.

And yes, I was totally wearing a cup and she absolutely hit it.  She has no problem making contact anywhere and of all things, the eye strikes (of course she went light - for her) were the hardest to take.

That’s so cool that you got to meet Kathy Long in person! What was her personality like? Dominant? Kickass?

Oh she goes for it.  I had the opportunity to do a couple seminars and a lesson with her a few years ago.  After basic introductions in the lesson, and asking what we wanted to go over (we said techniques from her style) the next thing out of her mouth was to ask if I was wearing a cup.

She might be the best groin puncher I have ever seen, everyone else goes for kicks, but she really goes after it with those open hand strikes.
