Lots of women, my wife included, believe women should take wide fighting stances when defending themselves. It gives the woman better balance and leverage, and it tempts the attacker to take a wider stance himself.

I love how her legs are spread as wide apart as they are..maybe it has something to do about who does (and doesn't) have the vulnerability hanging between their legs.
