I've been talking with a person or two about the idea of introducing busting to the rules of various games, much in the way that people typically shoehorn in stripping or drinking to other games.

Magic is probably my favourite game and I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking up strategies and combos with decks and cards I don't even own or have the money to afford. Anyway, I was thinking that Magic is probably a great game to make up an elaborate busting ruleset for, considering there are so many different methods of taking advantages and winning the game.

Considering I'm not going to be sharing this idea with any of my MtG friends, I thought I might test the waters here and see how many people play or are familiar with the game before I potentially waste a lot of time coming up with a whole list of rules.

Also, does anybody else have any ideas for games that might lend themselves well to adding in busting rules of sorts?

Balance is always an issue when creating cards whether its our own or even the official ones.  But the balance issues are worse when someone's creating their own custom card because they expect to be the only one to have it.  That's how you get the 99/99 creature with a casting cost of 1 colorless.  In this case, we'd want to be creating cards that could be used either by us or against us with the overall goal not of winning, but of creating a fun game in which we also get some ballbusting.  Still, playtesting would definitely be needed.

Plus, I think that to play this, we'd need restrictions on which cards are allowed in.  Some people want to bust, some want to be busted, and some to do both.  So if you don't want to be busted, obviously you'd leave out cards like Irascible Nymph, but you'd also need your opponent to not have cards like Wand of Groin Punch.  So we'd need to have restrictions unless everyone playing was fine with both.

That would be amazing! I'd love to play something like that haha! :D

This might be an easy card game to convert to a ballbusting game. I don't know though, as I haven't played it:

The idea of busting behind games has always appealed to me.  One of the sexiest experiences I ever had was playing strip Dr. Mario with someone (it didn't involve ballbusting officially, but when we were neck-in-neck, and she was down to her bra and panties, and I was down to just my glasses, she did grab my balls hard to distract me - it worked!).  I think a lot of is that I'm too afraid to volunteer my balls for being busted, but having a woman potentially win that as a prize (when I could win something too), is is the best of both worlds.  I think I prefer things that are more purely luck, than MtG, though.  Sexfavor-Monopoly or something.

With MtG, I like the idea of doing something like Modern or Standard, being given a time limit to assemble a deck of proxies, and then playing for some kind of busting conditions, if only because it eliminates the weird stock market money factor of the game.  Commander is best with more than two players, so assigning rules before you go out to the group and having the busting take place at home might work (maybe eliminating a player gets you something, or you can set conditions for each of your decks).  It would also encourage behavior while playing with multiple people that involved doing crazy things rather than winning, which I think always makes the game better for anybody, and would involve a sexy secret for the two players who were playing for stakes nobody could see...

Can you elaborate on "strip Dr. Mario", please? Were you taking it in turns to play it on a Gameboy, trying to beat each other's score?

Playing it on a Wii, competitively.  Each round lost meant losing an article of clothing.  For some reason, I did spectacularly badly down to my boxers and glasses without winning once, then suddenly made a comeback until I got her down to her bra and panties.  She then won one round, and I had to decide whether to play blind or naked.  I opted to keep the glasses and she opted to go for my balls as a distraction.

I never knew that Dr. Mario was a two-player game!

Also, that sounds awesome! =D

My wife and I have tried playing Legendary Encounters: Firefly a couple of times.  Each time we've lost miserably less than half way through a game (it's a cooperative game where we play against random chance).  So, after thinking about it, I thought of a rules tweak to make it more likely that we'll win but at the cost of a bunch of ball pain for me.  The rule is that during her turn she can get extra attack points by shooting me in the balls.  Specifically, we have a gun for throwing tennis balls to dogs that can be cocked back from level 1 to level 4.  She'll get between 1 and 4 extra points based on how far she cocks it back before shooting me in the balls.

Since it's a cooperative game, she'll be deciding that I need to take another shot to the balls for the sake of the team.  I think that'll be pretty hot.

I realized I should have said specifically that the toy in question is the Hyper Pet K-9 Kannon Mini in case anyone wants one of their own.

Anyway, we played yesterday.  It went pretty well.  She enjoyed it saying things like, "Gee, you sure are useful!" while shooting me in the balls to get the extra attack points.  We got a better draw this time, though, so it didn't wind up being as necessary as it would have been in the other games.  I think we probably would have won even without the extra rule.  As a result, I only got a series of level 1 and level 2 hits and no level 3 or level 4.  We both definitely had fun.  We'll see if she wants to do it again.

The rule change definitely had both intended effects.  It made the game a little easier, but also gave her a good reason to bust my balls.

Any and All games that would offer People who are a bit hesitant to the Fet yet curious enough to participate always makes it 1 million times more fun. Anyone who’s into BB, Would be incredibly dedicated with learning those rules, lol.

Anyone already interested Would be incredibly dedicated with learning those rules. When I lived in Spain we played similar games which included all sorts of BB Opportunities yet also expanded to include everyone’s interests. Group games rock!!
