I'd bet in this group, she was thought of fondly so I figured I'd start a discussion on her most famous character.  I know she was very active with writing, and an activist on many topics, but being the Geeks, etc. group, I thought I'd keep it grounded to SW.  I was curious your favorite scenes with Leia out of the first three SW films.  Yeah, yeah, metal bikini, yah.  Besides that!  :-P

I love any scene that she argues with Han Solo. Especially when he's following her around the base on Hoth.

he was definitely seen with him and her going back-and-forth about committees and walking carpets. I really thought it demonstrated the differences in their existence and yet through communication bridge the gaps with humor

The other one was win the rebels are clearing out in r in the beginning and he has to go out and face certain death looking for Luke well she makes her get away into the unknown jump into space where are the empire has like 12 Deathstars point right at her escaping convoy. Her chances were slim to none and so was his knowing damn well he was never gonna find Luke and make it back before nightfall. It was a nice moment for both characters.
