soccer ball in the balls today

I was playing soccer at work today. I played offense and I was cornering a player near her goal. I stood there with my legs open as to not let her dribble left or right, but instead of trying to pass me, she took a shot at the ball. It landed right between my open legs. She let a giggle out, casually controlled the ball and took off with it, almost walking pass me as I was unable to react. She was already far when I grab my balls and went limping towards the bench.

Nobody I know around here wears a cup for soccer… I don’t even have one. that may look weird

I've taken a soccer ball in the balls before, its pretty painful.  And like you I was not wearing a cup.  The next soccer game I had my protective cup on for sure.

She kicked the soccer ball, and the soccer ball landed between my legs. When I did not fall right away, game continued

the ball? Or her kick? Because I know for a fact kicking a guy in the groin during football is a red card
