The "Whistle Game"

So I have told a few people around here and they told me they have never heard of it....

In Israel there is (or at least was) a really common game that has been going on for years' as I have seen friends of my father do it to a guy in their friend group' and also saw it during babysitting so its a few generations long.

Anyway in here there is a stupid game that is MOSTLY a guy game.

Where a guy grabs another guy by the squishy buttons and squeezes while telling the poor soul to whistle...

If he whistles they let go.. If not they keep squeezing... and from what it looked like it is pretty hard to whistle in that scenario.

Guys usually just smiled or giggled or cried in pain.

As I said it is mostly a guys game but often you used to see a girl do it

I have met a guy who told us his middle school girlfriend is the reason he learned how to whistle...

Although it doesn't have to be just a "whistle" but it's usually what it is

some times a guy would ask for 3 cities from around the world or to answer question fast

or a girl would ask the guy the say something demeaning or bark like a dog that sort of thing

In here it is so common almost everyone heard of it and I am talking about different areas of the country so it is not just common to one school or one area...

We had a girl from a different school that every guy heard of that actually earned the title "The Lobster" that way ..

I just have to know is it common around the world or is it just and Israeli thing?

FYI - I always felt like squeezing a guy is too personal so I haven't played along until my current partner

Yes! It was actually quite common in argentina, don't know if it still existing. Many years ago grabbing someones balls and not letting go until they could whistle. Unfortunatelly i saw it done a few times but always by guys to friends, never by a girl

there was actually an article about it on the news a few years after I graduated...

It stated that it is started from a very young age...

I remember it from last years of primary school but it was mostly common during middle school

I honestly thought it was a world wide kind of thing and not just over here...

Speaking from France, I think I can safely say that such a game does not exist here.

No, not familiar with it...hmmm...squishy buttons? OK. Squishy buttons it is! Hope you get encouragement to develop your GSP skills. Of course, if you want any input on how to practice that, I would be happy to discuss that with you sometime.

When I was a kid some people would squeeze your nipples and ask "name 5 cereals". They didn't squeeze the balls though.
