Some of it is also toughening up mentally.  Once you're used to it, you don't fear it so much, and you only react to the actual pain and less to the fear of what the pain might be.  And then you realize that while it's still painful, it's not as bad as you used to think it would be.

guys guys im used to BB, i've been getting regularly kicked in the nads for 6 years now, this was pretty light compared to what im used to.  its just practice.  anyone can do it if they get hit a lot, this may be a bad reference but what happens when you play guitar?  your fingers are sore for a while, but then they toughen up.  Same goes with nuts! Theres no cup, i've never used a 'cup' before

too many critics-yeah it's a little gentle for my tastes, but compared to 90% of the vids you find it's still waaaaaaay better. And I have trouble getting girls to do it at all, then doublely on camera-the few I've been able to do they want to be mostly hidden-i think it's a great vid, there's room 4 improvement but some of you guys are way too harsh

Damien, I think you're right and your video style is excellent.  Just to make a point though, given that your tolerance is pretty good you might actually be able to take a "soccer kick" or two.  Not fifty of them over ten solid minutes though, LOL.

Hein:  This is how our vids are.  They're supposed to be fun. They're not supposed to do damage.  The point is to enjoy BB for both the guy and girl, have a laugh about the weakness.  How much more boring would it be if they each soccer kicked me once and the rest of the video was just me on the ground?  :P
