There is no particular "methodology involved".lol It depends on the situation and or circumstances. First and foremost, I try to de-escalate, a potentially volatile situation. If this is not possible, I will attempt flight. Particularly, if I am working.

I will employ force if, force is used against me or someone in my company. That is, as a last resort. I will attempt to employ the minimal amount of violence needed, to end the encounter. I am not a law enforcement officer or agent, obligated to intervene when, a crime is committed. My obligation it strictly to those in my charge.

This is not to say, I have stood idly by and watched a woman being abused. Even a man for that matter. The only thing that will earn my ire, (nearly as quickly as a man abusing a woman) is two (or more) men abusing one smaller male. However, I of course employ common sense. That is, I will not take on army of hooligans!

The overwhelming majority of the time, I do not need to apply force in my work or my off hours. Even the few times I must, I try to do it proportionally. Example... (and this happens, with some frequency)  a girl has been a bit of a flirt or "tease". Sadly, some young women do not know the difference. So, sometimes a randy fellow (who, may have had some "liquid courage") will not take "no" for an answer.

If I can entreat him away from the lass, I will. That is, offering a dance or what have you. Sometimes, I will subtly grab him by the "you-know-what's". I will apply just enough pressure to bring about, a slight gasp. However, I will be careful to shield what, I am doing. This serves two purposes. It does not inspire anyone to intervene. Also, it preserves his dignity, in front of his mates. That is, he is not humiliated.

This also prevents the area from becoming a crime scene. There have been other times, I have employed a blow to the solar plexus. This is painful, yes. However, no where near as brutal, as a blow to the male gonads. Then again, there have been times when, I have gone for the huevos. A man backhanding a woman. Then, NOT stopping when, I direct him to. This kind of intervention on my part, generally provokes the fellow to take a swipe at me. They usually finish up on the floor in the fetal position. I must admit, it is a bit of the "turn-on", to have them cursing me whilst, holding their bruised "plums"!

However, this is short-lived, as I witness the absolute agony they are in. The many fetishists of the masochistic variety, tend to create false a impression in forums, such as this. They are a minority in the world of men. The overwhelming majority of men, do not enjoy a swift kick or knee to their testicles. They dread it. I am married, to such a man.
