Times you got hit in the groin while solo?

I was curious if anyone has stories of times they got hurt between the legs while there wasn't anyone else around? (I don't mean intentionally, only times it wasn't planned)

How did it happen, how did you react, did you tell anyone about it? etc.

Once while I was bored and hanging outside the back of my house.I was bouncing a basketball off the back of the garage and catching it on the rebound to toss it again. Nothing to worry about since there were no windows on it or anything breakable. Eventually it backfired on me and bounced back too low and hit me in the thigh. I probably should have taken that as a warning but I kept going. A little after that, it bounced back low again but not as low since time, and smashed into my balls. It was enough to make me go down and holding myself for a good while.
