As you can see in another thread Ballbusting World is closing down due to new UK laws.  There are some others going offline that I have noticed as well.  I can't even find Elise on c4s anymore.  It apparently disappeared.  Her clips have been taken down that is.

UK has some of the best BB I have ever seen.  Elise, BB World and Nikki Whiplash, Kinky Kicks, many more c4s stores.  Too many to mention.

In this thread I wanted to discuss what are these new laws that they are imposing?  Why are these sites shutting down?  What does the future hold for these sites and performers?

~ Re up load under new guidelines to fit new laws?  Some very cryptic explanation like that appears on the BB World site.  Like they will re upload eventually under new guidelines?  What does this mean and when will it happen?

~ Move to another country?  Upload the videos from there?  Get outside of UK laws?

Fight the government in court and attempt to win?

Somebody explain to me how a consenting ADULT Mistress, consenting ADULT film subs and ADULT consumers who download the videos is wrong?  This is absurd and stupid beyond comprehension.

Do we have any UK members here to can explain what is going on?  And where do we go from here?  Is it bye, bye to UK BB forever?  I can't believe it is that bad.  I don't want to believe it.  It's some of the best BB I have ever seen.  What are the steps and how do we get this stuff back up if possible for the future?  That's what I wanted to focus on here.  The general UK situation, laws, and future of all sites and c4s stores originating from there.

Based on some things I heard I believe some of them will try to come back online eventually.  Through new editorial controls and new business addresses outside of U.K.  Some combination or one or the other.  Apparently there are legal ways to do this and ways in which it is illegal.  Somehow in how you edit it or present it.  And of course if your main business address is outside of U.K.  I understand Kinky Kicks for example is outside of U.K.  Therefore does not fall under U.K. rules and laws.  BBWorld and Nikki Whiplash is trying to come back under "new editorial control."  Whatever that means.  Some new way of presenting it or editing it or maybe you can't see much on the preview screens or whatever.  But they apparently have some lawyers looking at this or whatever to find a way to comply.

IMO there is too much money to be made to be offline forever.  If a site is making money they would be foolish to just stop.  Just incorporate in France or Belgium or Germany or Netherlands or something else close by to U.K.  I believe there are ways around this.  We should see them back up again.  Most of them.  Who knows how long that will take?  Will it be from the U.K or another country?  Will it be edited better, worse, different, big changes, little changes?  IDK.  I just think based on what I have heard and read they will be back.  But it might take a while and it might be different.  I hope the videos are not worse in some way because of this.  More heavily edited or pull back some of the violence in some way.  Hard BB within some reason is real good film IMO.  I think they will come back.  Check for those sites in a few months.  I hope they will be just as good.

I can't believe U.K. is this repressive against their own peoples freedoms to watch what they want in the privacy of their own home.  It's absolutely unbelievable to me.  I hope it works out ok in the long run.  We will see.

What "new editorial control" means is that there will be someone in charge of deciding which videos are or are not posted who lives outside the UK.  The way the law is written it applies to any site where either:

a) the site is hosted in the UK

or 

b) the editorial control resides in the UK

The second part is there so that a company can't escape regulation by simply moving its servers off-shore and to include things like Mistress Elise whose clips are hosted on an American site (clips4sale), but she's the one who makes the clips and decides which ones go up.

However, that second part isn't that effective since it just means that you have to have a server and someone in charge of the site outside of the UK.  So what Mistress Whiplash most likely means is that they'll still be filming the same scenes with the same participants in the UK (not illegal under the new law) and then sending them to someone in the US to then post on a US-based server (also not illegal under US or UK law).  There is also no reason that the existing scenes couldn't be added to that US server.  So, probably, it will all come back in a while once she finds a trust-worth US business partner, but it's hard to know for sure.
