should I worry?

Ok so Thursday I took a kick that lead to a little swelling and after a day or so a small bruise started to show. Still hurts should I worry? Everything seems to work fine just hurts to walk a bit and very tender to the touch.

Well duh Mr. Hill, you have been struck by a blunt object.  A little swelling and some bruising should be expected.  Man up, embrace the soreness, stroke another one out (just making sure all is in working order), and put a smile on your face:)

Thanks I needed that. Just my first time to have a bust bruise. Everything is in working order thankfully. How long until the bruising should go away?

depends, near skin bruising,  couple of days to about a week or two.  Deeper bruising or larger hematoma maybe up to three weeks.  Speed it up by applying cold in the first three days, rotate with applying heat after day two, for two or three days.  Some swear by applying Witch Hazel and/Arnica to the bruised areas to speed up resolution of the bruise.  Or just wear them bruises with pride!

Ok great will do. It has now been a week since the kick, pain has come down and the ball itself isn't swollen but the variocle I already had is sore. Still walk a little funny and the bruise is black. Feels better but seems like it should be a bit better than it is. When I get time I will write a blog about how this happened.

The testicle is still sore to the touch but not as sensitive as it was.
