KITG in CRISIS - MY original vision for this site and where we are today.

Mallory and I have been discussing the direction of the site and feel there may need to be some clarity with regards to the tone and rules of the site. The about section is the holy grail of the site and sets the tone… but the site has evolved much since 2009 and some of it may be in need of an update… 

 

THE ABOUT SECTION - MY ORIGINAL STATEMENT IN 2009:

Please be aware that this site IS NOT a DATING SERVICE or a place to SOLICIT yourself or others. 

 

 

MY CURRENT POSITION IN 2012:

This still holds true. We do not take credit nor encourage people to seek compatible partnerships here on the site. Hey if you happen to bond with someone and have great chemistry so be it we salute you but we are not in the business of playing matchmaker by helping you to find your next BB/CB Domina or Dom or helping you locate willing Bustees or new subscribers. For an authentic experience we  suggest that you treat this site as if you were meeting each other on the street for the first time rather than treating the site as a solicitation fortress of fantasies and empty dialog. This is site is full of real people and we each want to have authentic conversations with real connections and not feel like objects or $$$ transactions. Oh and another big thing ONCE YOU LEAVE THE SITE ITS NOT OUR BUSINESS AND OUT OF OUR CONTROL. It appears that the message and tone of the site is being lost. Mallory and I feel that this statement needs to be amended so that this message comes across loud and clear.

Lets face it BB and CB is sexy for the vast majority of people who frequent this site. BB and CB mean many things to many different people and I note that the overall tone on most BB or CB sites is one of fantasy - fiction and we want to circumvent that with our own KITG reality by showing that BB and CB is attainable and accessible to the average person when they have an active engaging social platform to express and to articulate their thoughts and desires.

Anyone can post content, but --> PLEASE DO NOT POST NUDITY, LEWD IMAGERY (this means anything that barely covers, undies, oily wrestle hand grabby pix)…

 

 

MY CURRENT POSITION IN 2012:

Please note that for the past 15 years I have spent a boatload of money on fetish content featuring nude and lewd imagery, I have experienced dominas in 5 countries, I created two notable fetish websites within the past 9 years, I'm also vocal and active in an offline lifestyle kinky community - so I'm the last person anyone can call a prude… with that said.. Nude imagery is and will always be banned on this site, because it totally sets the wrong vibe for the site. Lewd imagery is subjective depending on who you ask… so both Mallory and I have to use our discretion when rejecting or accepting questionable imagery. As it stands at the moment we are going with "anything that barely covers the body like undies, oily wrestling hand grabby pix", though this statement in itself will have to be amended cause its very broad and not clear. Its not easy coming off like a diplomatic stick-in-the-ass prude but we have a major responsibility for the tone of the site and its members …. and we are doing our damnedest to make this site comfy and respectable as a mainstream PG-rated BB and CB site. We are trying to set a precedence in BB and CB so please bear with us as we make mistakes and continue to evolve.

MY CURRENT POSITION IN 2012:

The original mission of this site is that we are "a social network and repository for CB and BB material." Basically we support all free BB and CB content on the web but we DO NOT post video or photos from paid BB or CB sites. The reason being is that "we respect and support" the BB and CB Producers, they really work hard and take time and effort to put their likeness out there. It takes food off the table and prevents them from making their living when you share and link to pay content.  The ONLY people who should be able to post paid content from a BB or CB sites are the site producers themselves, which means that they must be members here on this site and grant us permission to host their likeness on our site. Seeing that there are a number of BB and CB producers who are now members on the KITG website we need to clear some things up, so…  BB and CB producers, if you wish to solicit your video clips here you must do the following:

 

1. no nudity and be mindful of lewd imagery. 

2. give some type of verbal or visual credit to http://kickedinthegroin.ning.com/ when posting to our site. 

3. have a link to our http://kickedinthegroin.ning.com/ site on your website. (I mean we link to you so you should offer the same courtesy).

Where's the crisis?

@comrade ..hello brother, the crisis is when rules and structures become too lax then the culture of the site takes on a new dynamic and alters the vibe of the site. My major point is if we don't keep certain things in check (cause as it stands currently we feel they are on the verge of getting out of hand) then the site will be headed in a direction we do not want it to go in.
