I need a camera for bb videoclips

Hi there, I have spend the entire day on looking for informations about camcorders but instead of a decision, all i got is a headache from too much information.
I want to film my own bb clips but I have no idea which camera I should buy.

The only two things that I require are - it must have a threaded hole to mount it on a tripod, and it must record in a format that i can read with my pc to upload it. These are very modest needs, hence I would appreciate a cheap solution.

Welcome to the website Marina... this question is in the area of my expertise. I can help you narrow down some specific products in the next 24 hours. BUt just to give you some background. I have been professionally shooting and editing digital video since 1999 you can literally use a digital camera to shoot video and it will be a very very cheap solution they have a threaded hole for the tripod mount and they also take great pictures in good light. I thank you (also for the warm welcome). Yeah it was about videocameras, I had not used the proper word, by "Camera" i meant a camcorder, however I have bought one that got good ratings just today - I'm very happy today.

NO NO NO i knew clearly what you were asking for. These digital cameras are cheap and they use 4G cards... I'm telling you I have a HIGH End Sony A1U HD video camera, I'm all about prosumer video cameras... but let me just say that the Digital Camera links I gave you were perfect for doing video. I have shot some very clear and good video using a Cannon Powershot. But if you got a video camera already then I guess I won't have to create a nice list for ya. What did you get btw?

oh, I'm sorry I didnt dig that right in time :). What i got is a Samsung HMX-R10, it got good reviews and was cheap. It features SlowMotion which I really find interesting. It's said to be HD but I doubt in that price range HD will be convincing, however since I need it only for clips the solution was absolutely no topic to me, I used a 35$ spycam before for my regular filming (til it broke) and it did like 640x480 and i was more than fine with it.
i got three 8GB Kingston cards for max. 360 mins. To create my clips I just need some balls yet --- anyone? ;)
